NAID PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY CONFERENCE
 
The Spanish members of NAID-Europe represented the secure destruction industry at the recent 31st Annual Conference of Privacy and Data Protection Commissioners.  The event was held in Madrid from November 4th-6th.  As an exhibitor and sponsor of the event, NAID and NAID-Europe seized a critical opportunity to gain brand recognition and create awareness among some of the world’s most important privacy officials.
 
Among those in attendance at the event were FTC Commissioner Pamela Jones Harbour, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, EU Data Protection Supervisor Peter Hustinx, Australian Privacy Commissioner Karen Curtis and about 1,000 other privacy officials from around the world.
