PRISON REFORM ADVOCATE USES DUMPSTER DIVING TO DISCREDIT FOE
 
A prison reform advocate Alex Friedmann (pictured) is making the most of confidential information he found behind a Tennessee Methadone Clinic in a building owned by a local businessman. 
 
According to an article by Caleb Hannan posted on the website of the Nashville Scene on July 31st, the clinic occupies a building owned by Gus Puryear IV, the top lawyer for the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), and George W. Bush's pick for federal judge in Nashville.
 
The article reports that Friedmann then triggered an investigation by contacting state and federal authorities and provided The Tennessean with copies of the discarded records, which by state law should have been destroyed.
