NEW OWNERSHIP: HALLCO INDUSTRIES INC. FORMERLY HALLCO MANUFACTURING
 
According to a company release, Mike Almond of Australia has purchased controlling interest in the newly formed company of HALLCO Industries Inc. The innovator of The Live Floor conveyor system Ole Hallstrom and his wife Mary have sold their interests in HALLCO.
 
The release states that Almond also owns transport company Mountain Industries, located in Newcastle on the East Coast of Australia. Mountain Industries has been involved in trucking and rail operations since 1980, has 150 employees, and runs in excess of 100 subcontract owner/drivers in the trucking fleet. The company also owns a number of grain storage and fertilizer distribution sites in the Australian grain belt. Mike has represented the HALLCO product in Australia and SE Asia since 1987.
 
According to the release, there have been some changes in the company structure as well. Steve Hallstrom will be serving as President of HALLCO Industries Inc., and Dan Hallstrom as V.P. of Manufacturing. Jack McClave has returned as Chief Financial Officer and Charles Russell has accepted the position as V.P. Sales/Marketing heading up the sales team located in the USA.
