FLORIDA MEDICAL PRACTICE ABANDONED SENSITIVE RECORDS
 
An article by Gordon Jackson appearing on the website of Jacksonville, FL-based The Times-Union on July 25th reports that patients of a closed medical practice are concerned to learn that their records have been abandoned. The report does not reveal the names of the physicians or how many may be involved.
 
The state’s Medical Examiner’s Office has been informed of the situation and is promising an investigation.
