NEW SPONSOR ADDED TO “BBB SECURE YOUR ID DAY” SHRED DAY EVENT
ProQuo, an innovative company that helps consumers stop unwanted direct mail, will join NAID and Equifax as co-sponsors of “BBB Secure Your ID Day,” the nationwide Better Business Bureau initiative to increase awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.
The next “BBB Secure Your ID Day” will be held on September 20, 2008. On that day, NAID Member-companies who have been selected by a participating local BBB office will provide free destruction services to the public. Click here to see the markets in which the BBB has participating offices.
Some BBB locations may not have established a local partner yet. NAID Members interested in providing services are encouraged to contact their local BBB branch directly.
NAID will support and promote similar events hosted by NAID Member companies that have not been selected by a local BBB office.
Any NAID Member that has partnered with a local BBB or intends to host their own public awareness shredding event should submit the NAID & BBB National Shred Day Participation Form by August 20, 2008. Click here to download the form.
