FLORIDA MEDICAL CENTER CLAIMS IGNORANCE REGARDING DISCARDED RECORDS
 
A Rockledge, Florida medical facility is denying any knowledge regarding how medical records ended up in the trash behind their building, according to a report posted on June 26th to the website of FloridaToday.
 
The local police department took the medical records from a trash bin, reportedly for safe keeping and further investigation.
 
The medical facility stated that they use the services of a secure destruction company, which was unnamed in the article.
