DENTIST LEAVES RECORDS UNSECURED
 
In a report by Houston, Texas-based ABC-affiliate KTRK on June 2nd, confidential files were found in a dentist’s dumpster.
 
The report claims that the personal information was found in a dumpster outside a storage facility. The dentist says he stores records at the business and an assistant accidentally left the files outside.
 
The box the files were in were labeled that they were supposed to be shredded. The files contained patient information, including teeth impressions.
