UK MINISTRY OF JUSTICE ISSUES SUMMARY OF COMMENTS
 
NAIDDirect-Europe previously reported that it submitted formal comments to the UK Ministry of Justice (MoJ) on increasing the fines for violating the Data Protection Directive to £500,000.  It further reported the measure recently was approved and comes into law on 1 April of this year.
 
The MoJ has now released a summary of all comments and a list of the organizations that participated in the process.
